NetBeans  is my main tool now. And few days ago I found files from an old DB - Paradox . Finally I reload data to my Oracle, but is't about how to read the data. It's my 2 files "Paradox Java Driver by using the JDBC" here  (actually you can google it). Create new DB connection just 7 steps. "next". AND NOW, DON'T PRESS "Test Connection" button, because netbeans creates lock-file, can't open it again and popup an error message. Ok, now it has the new connection to paradox files. Right click on the connection and select "connect", open it and select "View data". take a beer! :-)
